Our Story - Terra & Root

In 2023, I set myself a personal goal: grow my hair out and donate it to charity. When the time finally came to cut it and return to styling, I was struck by how many hair products were packed with chemicals I didn’t want anywhere near my scalp.

So, inspired by my love of natural, clean ingredients, I began experimenting with my own formula — something that could hold my desired style whether I was chasing after my kids or playing football, but without compromising the long-term health of my hair.

After months of refining, I finally created a natural hair wax I truly loved. At first, it was just for me. But the positive feedback I received from friends, colleagues, and even professional barbers encouraged me to think bigger. With my children cheering me on, I knew it was time to share this with the world.

And that’s how Terra & Root was born — a brand rooted in purpose, passion, and the belief that nature knows best.

This is just the beginning of our journey. Whether we remain a small family-led brand or become the go-to name in natural hair care, I know one thing for sure: everyone who tries Terra & Root will feel the love and care that went into every jar.
